Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / The new police head in the Azerbaijani Ganja city, who was appointed at the position a month ago, punished 150 police officers for breach of duty. They were seriously rebuked, the Ganja Central Police Office reported to Trend on 19 December.
On 20 November, the head of the Ganja Police Garib Hasanov was discharged from the position and Rasim Musayev replaced him. He launched checks in police bodies.
The Police Office was unavailable for further interviewing.
Ganja is located 365km west of Baku.
