Lorry Parking in Central Streets of Azerbaijan’s Ganja City Prohibited

Azerbaijan, Ganja, 25 January / Trend corr. V.Mammadov / Adil Zeynalov, the chief of the State Road Police Station in Ganja City, stated that a prohibition was imposed on parking of lorries in streets with heavy traffic.

According to Zeynalov, the ban on parking of lorries was imposed in order to prevent the traffic jam on the roads.

A special stop with over 3.5 tons of cargo capacity was constructed on the entrance to the city by Ganja Executive Power.

"Within two months the lorry drivers will not pay for using of parking. The two months later the lorry drivers will pay 40 copecks daily," Zeynalov said.

The lorry drivers have already been informed about the changes. Today, the two lorry drivers were fined.

Ganja city is located 365km west of Baku.
