Georgia, Tbilisi, 29 August /corr. Trend N.Kirtskhalia / After termination of diplomatic relations with Russia, the interests of Georgia in this country can be represented by the embassy of the third country. The Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia, Grigol Vashadze, briefed the media that consultations on this theme are being held with several countries.
As is known, yesterday the Parliament of Georgia adopted a Resolution їOccupation of
the territory of Georgia by Russiaї, one of points of which envisages breaking
diplomatic relations with Russia.
The Head of the Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Relations, Lasha Jvania, provided more detailed information on what country may represent the interests of Georgia.
According to him, these countries may be Ukraine, Azerbaijan or any European country. їIt does assume importance because the bilateral relations govern and determine the processes. As a rule, no partner country refuses such an appeal,ї Jvania.
