Ukraine to Allocate $100mln for Preterm Parliamentary Elections

Ukraine, Kiev, 10 October / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitskiy / Ukraine plans to allocate 497mln hryvna (about $100mln) to hold preterm parliamentary elections.

It was envisaged in the bill, which was registered at the Supreme Rada on 9 October, on injection of changes into the Law on 2008 Public Budget of Ukraine  and injection of changes into some legislations of Ukraine by Kseniya Lapina, an MP from Our Ukraine.

їThe expenses will allocated through increase of the planned expenditure figure of the public budget at the expanse of VAT incomes from the import goods to Ukraine,ї explanatory note of the bill reported.

On 9 October the Ukrainian Presidentїs website publicized decree 911/2008 on Preterm cancellation of authorities of the Ukrainian Supreme Rada of the 6th convocation and fixing extraordinary elections. Extraordinary elections of the Ukrainian Parliament were scheduled for 7 December 2008.
