Over 30% of Electors Vote in UK for Azerbaijan’s Presidential Elections
UK, London, 15 October / Trend corr. G.Ahmadova/ A total of 30% of electors voted in London by 12.00pm [local time] on the day of presidential elections in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Embassy in UK said. The polling station operates at the Embassy.
Sixty Azerbaijani citizens, with 200 temporary residing in UK and registered at the Embassy's
Consulate Department, voted.
Presidential elections take place in Azerbaijan today. Seven candidates take part in the elections, including Ilham Aliyev, chairman of ruling New Azerbaijan Party; Igbal Agazade, chairman of opposition Umid (Hope) Party; Fazil Gazanfaroglu, chairman of Great Establishment Party; Gudrat Hasanguliyev, chairman of Unified Popular Front Party; Hafiz Hajiyev, chairman of Muasir Musavat Party; Fuad Aliyev, chairman of Liberal Democrat Party and independent candidate Gulamhuseyn Alibayli.
