Georgia, Tbilisi, Dec. 24 / Trend , N.Kirtskhalia / Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia Ilia II hopes that the frequent contacts of representatives of Russia and Georgia will help restoration of previous friendship relations. This was stated by Illia II before the beginning of an International conference in the Kortiard Merriott hotel in Georgia.
"I think that Russian delegation's participation at the conference promotes the restoration of our relations and each meeting is the step on this way," Patriarch said.
Mikhail Shvidkoy, the head of the Russian delegation and advisor of the Russian President, underlined significance of the contact between the two nations. "We should continue the cultural contact between our nations," Shvidkoy said.
