corr.N.Kirchkhalia/ Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili today is waited to
aarive in Munich, where an international conference on security to be taken
place. The journalist in the Georgian delegation said, Saakashvili will arrive
in Germany in the second half of the day.
The conference expected to attend by U.S. Vice President Joseph Biden. The
Georgian delegation, including ministers of foreign affairs and defense, argue
that Saakashvili has planned to meet with Biden.
The Georgian side also is looking forward to meeting in Munich, the NATO
secretary general Jaap de Hoop Scheffer and the vice-premier of the Russian
government, Sergei Ivanov. At that meeting, according to the members of
Georgian delegation Scheffer intends to severely raise the issue of the
inadmissibility of the Russian military bases in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
