A basic human rights report prepared by Kazakhstan meets international standards, U.S. Ambassador to Kazakhstan Richard Hougland said in Astana on March 10, the Kazakh parliament reported.
"Hougland appreciated the report," the message said.
The diplomat also spoke positively about the three-year national action plan and united digital library.
"Astana's upcoming chairmanship in the OSCE was discussed during a parliamentary meeting with the participation of the ambassador," the message said.
