The Minister of National Security of Azerbaijan Eldar Mahmudov met with the Chairman of National Security Service of Uzbekistan Rustam Inoyatov and Chairman of National Security Committee of Belarus Vadim Zaytsev.
The Minister of National Security, Lieutenant General Mahmudov highlighted historical cultural and friendly relations between the countries, a source at the Ministry told Trend .
Minister informed of works done by Ministry to ensure security and combat criminality in Azerbaijan, problems and other factors, generated by the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, and the adequate measures taken in connection with them.
The guests mentioned great significance of such meetings for effective protection of the security interests of both states, expressed satisfaction with the development of the relations of co-operation of special service agencies in ensuring interests and security of the countries.
