The Georgian authorities attempt to make forget the events happened in August. 2008, the leader of Democratic Movement of United Georgia, Nina Burjanadze, said.

She summarized results of six-item ceasefire agreement over a year and said that the real estimation of the agreement was given and analyses of reasons of war were not made.

At present, the Russian Armed Forces are dislocated in places which were under Georgia's control until the conflict. So, Russia violates the Sarkozi-Medvedev agreement.

The government was unable to find effective ways to realize diplomatic policy enabling to implement the agreement properly.

Furthermore, the authorities still keep on the rhetoric, proudly stating that they made the 58th Russian Army to run away, when Ahalqori and Kodor canyons are under the control of Russia.

"In addition, it is yet unknown which concrete steps the authorities are going to take to resume even partial status-quo and not to lose more territories," Burjanadze said.
