Leader of the Georgian parliamentary majority, Petre Tsiskarishvili, will pay a working visit to Turkey on Sept.15. Tsiskarishvili will hold several meetings at the Turkish Parliament, the Georgian Parliament said.
Tsiskarishvili will hold meetings with the deputy chairman of the Turkish Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Relations and chairman of the Turkish ruling party, Nuret Hanilt.
In addition, Petre Tsiskarishvili will also hold meetings with the head of the Turkish delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mevlut Chavisoglu and other members of the delegation.
A visit to Turkey before the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe is very important, because it is planned to adopt a resolution marking the anniversary of the Georgia-Russia war.
Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe will be held in Strasbourg on Sept. 28-Oct. 2.
