The Georgian Parliamentary majority is pleased with facts given in the conclusion of the commission of Heidi Tagliavini. It was stated after the parliamentary administration discussed the report with representatives of the Georgian Executive Power.

Parliamentary Speaker David Bakradze's meeting with the parliamentarians and representatives of the executive authorities checked the facts reflected in the Tagliavini commission's conclusion and in the conclusion of the Parliamentary Interim Commission.

The facts in the conclusions of both commissions are identical, MPs said after the meeting. It is important that the Tagliavini mission's conclusion confirmed all facts presented by Georgia and rejected Russia's arguments, including an argument about the invasion of Georgia

Mps once again noted that they were not pleased with part of evaluation of the Tagliavini mission's conclusion and believe the dispute on this issue will continue in the future.

Earlier, Parliamentary Vice-Speaker from the opposition, Levan Vepkhvadze, said that the Tagliavini commission's report almost completely coincides with the conclusion of the Parliamentary Interim Commission, headed by parliamentary second vice-speaker from the opposition, Paata Davitaya.
