The Georgian and Swedish defense ministries worked out a military cooperation plan this week. Swedish Military Attache Par Brid held consultations with Georgia, the Georgian Defense Ministry reported.
Georgian Deputy Defense Minister Nikoloz Vashakidze received the Swedish colonel. The official also met with International Relations and Euro-Atlantic Integration Department head Marika Laliashvili and Deputy Training and Military Education Commander, Deputy Colonel Zaza Kekelia.
The sides discussed future military cooperation between Georgia and Sweden.
The Swedish defense attache will leave Georgia Nov. 6.
