Former Georgian ambassador to Russia, manager of the Rustavi media management company Erosi Kitsmarishvili has been awarded the management of Maestro television broadcasting company for three years period.

The contract to be signed between founders of the company and Kitsmarishvili will completely protect the independence of the television channel, one of founders of the company Mamuka Glonti said.

The sides reached an agreement about the forms of relations and Mamuka Glonti as the founder of the company will obtain a right of veto for all decisions, Kitsmarishvili said. The company's main priority will be broadcasting unbiased news, Kitsmarishvili added.

The company will be controlled by the supervisory board, comprised of representative of media and non-governmental sectors.

Kitsmarishvili, who is one of main propagators of the "rose revolution" hasn't concretized the financing sources of the broadcasting company, only saying that financing will be absolutely legal.
