Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called on to address the Central Asia's issues of water and energy resources on a generally acceptable manner, without violating the ecological balance.

"Addressing these issues should be on the generally accepted basis to avoid disruption of the fragile ecological balance," he said at the University of World Economy and Diplomacy in Tashkent.

Lavrov regretted that so far, development of a common concept on the use of water resources in the Central Asia has not been finished yet.
