Member of the U.S. House Democracy Assistance Commission, David Price, will visit Georgia on 27-28 March, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Nino Kalandadze said. According to her, during his visit, David Price will hold a meeting at the Parliament of Georgia.
Prospects for deepening cooperation between the Parliament of Georgia and the U.S. Congress will be discussed.
Commenting on the congressman's visit, the U.S. Ambassador to Georgia John Bass stated that this is another support for Georgia from Washington. "Frequent visits by congressmen and senior officials of U.S. Department of State clearly indicate support for Georgia from the United States," he said.
