April 14 Azerbaijani Opposition Party will attempt to hold a picket in front of the executive power of Baku city.

"Despite that the executive power of Baku negatively responded to our appeal, tomorrow at 12:00 a.m. we intend to implement the planned action," head of the central executive office of the Musavat Party, Arif Hajili told Trend.

"We will also require places for holding mass actions within a radius of 200 meters from public institutions," the opposition party said.

Musavat party postponed the date of the picket, scheduled for last week in connection with the refusal of the Executive Committee of Baku City.

Musavat Party was established in October 1911 in Baku. The third Congress of the Musavat Party was held in Baku November 7, 1992.

The head of the Party, Isa Gambar was Speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament  (1992-1993) and presidential candidate in elections in 2003. The party was represented in the Parliament by four MPs.
