President Ilham Aliyev inaugurates Alat-Astara-Iran border highway’s 22 km section

As part of his visit to Salyan region, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has inaugurated today the 22km section of the Alat-Astara-Iran border highway,
President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing opening of the highway.
Minister of Transport Ziya Mammadov briefed the Head of State on the highway`s technical and economic parameters.
During his conversation with constructors, the President spoke of the Alat-Astara-Iran highway`s role in development of the region.
