Azerbaijan is interested in deepening cooperation with the international organizations, Presidential Administration Social and Political Department head Ali Hasanov said.

"We expect the arrival of PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan. The issue of conformity of the processes ongoing in Azerbaijan with European standards, as well as their assessment is one of immediate tasks of the Azerbaijani government. We are and will continue to pursue dialogue with the Council of Europe, OSCE and others international organizations," Hasanov said.

Spanish MP Pedro Agramunt Font De Mora was appointed new PACE co-rapporteur on Azerbaijan at the fourth working day of the PACE summer session June 24.

Hasanov said the international organizations' recommendations and all proposals aimed at improving electoral practices will be taken in the 2010 parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. The electoral processes in Azerbaijan will continue to fully comply with international standards, he added.

Parliamentary elections will be held in Azerbaijan in November 2010.
