Today Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Education Sayyid Mohammad Hossein in Baku, spokesperson of the Iranian Embassy in Azerbaijan Abbas Iskenderi said.
Mammadyarov said that the protocol signed in the field of culture between the two countries will have a significant impact on the expansion of cooperation between the countries.
Foreign Minister also said that the holding of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Iran in September creates conditions for the development of relations between the two countries.
Iranian minister expressed desire for Azerbaijan to become a permanent member of the Institute of Culture at the Economic Cooperation Organization and expand cooperation with this institution.
