President of Turkey Abdullah Gul has received today at his temporary residence Azerbaijan`s Prime Minister Artur Rasizade, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
President Gul praised the relationship between the "fraternal counties".
He hailed the rapid development process in Azerbaijan.
The Turkish leader noted political, economic, security and cultural cooperation between the two countries was developing. He expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would continue to develop.
On the Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the Turkish President said the problem must be settled on the basis of Azerbaijan`s territorial integrity. He also added Turkey always stands beside Azerbaijan on the issue.
For his part, Premier Rasizade said President Gul`s visit would contribute to deepening mutually beneficial relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey for the welfare of the two countries` peoples.
He noted the agreements achieved as the result of the visit would play important role in development of friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries.
