Musavat party and the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan  (PFPA) decided to nominate a single candidate in more five constituencies, PFPA Deputy Chairman for Political Affairs Fuad Gahramanli told Trend today.

So, the number of coordinated constituencies reached 79, Gahramanli said.

Musavat leader Isa Gambar proposed unifying his party with the PFPA on July 15. The two parties are continuing talks to determine unified candidates in the majority of the constituencies.

These constituencies are located outside Baku, he added. The parties have not yet reached an agreement on appointing single candidates in constituencies located in Baku, Gahramanli said.

The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
