None of Azerbaijani citizens residing in France has applied to the Foreign Ministry so far due to problems with the repatriation because of the unrest in France, Elkhan Polukhov, spokesman for the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, told Trend.
"The Azerbaijani Embassy in France keeps this issue under control," Polukhov said.
He said that the embassy will help Azerbaijan citizens to resolve their problems if they apply.
The people protested against a pension reform of the government in France last week. As of Thursday morning, about 1,900 people have been detained all over the country within the demonstrations since Oct. 12. The government is determined to adopt the reform. The youth intends to continue the protest, RIA Novosti reported.
