The ombudsman's office will observe the parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, Elmira Suleymanova, Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner, told Trend today.
She said that about 38 observers of the ombudsman's office were trained and sent to Azerbaijani regions.
"The observers will operate Nov. 7 early morning. If any shortages and violations are revealed, they will contact me over phone," she said.
The parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are scheduled for November 7, 2010. Previous parliamentary elections were held in November 2005. Parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan are held by the majority system in 125 constituencies.
