Slovakia's ambassador hands over copy of his credentials to Uzbek Foreign Ministry

The newly appointed ambassador of Slovakia Juraj Sivacek handed over copy of his credentials addressed to the President Islam Karimov to the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the Foreign Ministry said.
During the conversation the sides exchanged views on the agenda of the Uzbek-Slovak relations. The need for enhancing trade and economic and investment relations, including in the development of cooperation in tourism, education, science, culture, and environment protection and health was stressed.

The sides also stressed the need to expand the legal base of bilateral cooperation, the Foreign Ministry said.
