Azerbaijan 's President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Hamid Karzai.
In the letter the Head of State congratulated the President and the people of Afghanistan on national holiday - the Day of Independence. President of Azerbaijan expressed assurance for further joint efforts to develop Azerbaijan-Afghanistan friendly and cooperative relations.
President Ilham Aliyev wished the leader of Afghanistan robust health and successes in his activities and the friendly people of Afghanistan peace and prosperity.
