Chicago summit not to consider Georgia's accelerated NATO membership, Deputy Premier Giorgi Baramidze said at today's cabinet meeting.
Baramidze noted that the Georgian side does not expect that it will be invited as a member of NATO at this summit.
"Georgia better meets the standards than the countries which have joined NATO recently. However, it's not just a technical question, but also geopolitical. We expect that it will be said how the decision will be implemented on the entry of Georgia to NATO," Baramidze said.
