Programme manager of the Netherlands Institute of Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) Kati Piri and a representative of the institution in Georgia, Levan Tsutskiridze, are in Azerbaijan in a study trip, MP Elkhan Suleymanov told Trend on Monday.
The purpose of the visit is to establish cooperation between NIMD and political parties represented in the Azerbaijani Parliament.
NIMD representatives met with the head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the PA Euronest, Elkhan Suleymanov, they are also expected to meet with leaders of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan, MP Gudrat Hasanguliyev, the Party of 'Great Creation', MP Fazil Gazanfaroglu, the Justice Party, MP Ilyas Ismayilov, Civil Solidarity Party MP Sabir Rustamkhanli, the Party of National Revival Movement, MP Faradj Guliyev, the Democratic Reforms Party, MP Asim Mollazade, the head of the department of international relations of the New Azerbaijani Party, Asaf Hajiyev and deputy chairman of the Ana Vatan party, MP Zahid Oruj.
The NIMD head is co-chairman of PA Euronest, Kristian Vigenin.
