Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov received the new Argentinean charge d'affaires in Azerbaijan Alberto José Alonso, the Foreign Ministry said.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina, the great potential for the development of relations in various fields was noted.
Mammadyarov said mutual visits, carried out in recent years between the parties will contribute to the development of relations between Azerbaijan and Argentina.
Alberto José Alonso expressed his satisfaction with the appointment to Azerbaijan and his country's interest in development of relations with Azerbaijan and noted that he would work hard to develop the cooperation between the two countries.
