New Azerbaijani ambassador delivers credentials to Uzbek Foreign Ministry’s representatives

The newly appointed Azerbaijani ambassador to Uzbekistan, Huseyn Guliyev today delivered his credentials to representatives of the Uzbek Foreign Ministry, the Foreign Ministry said.
Both parties have exchanged views on the practical implementation of agreements reached during Uzbek President Islam Karimov's official visit to Azerbaijan in October of 2012.
It was stressed that Uzbek-Azerbaijani dialogue is being successfully developed in almost all areas. Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan have signed over 100 bilateral documents.
Special attention was paid to increasing trade-economic, investment, transport and communication relations, the volume and diversifies bilateral trade turnover.
Cooperation issues between parties within international organizations were also considered at the meeting.
Earlier, an Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in Uzbekistan was headed by Namig Abbasov.
