Turkish analyst: South Caucasus Forum can provide guidance for Balkan and Middle Eastern countries

The South Caucasus Forum, which is being held in Baku is quite an event, the echoes of which will be felt in other countries, the chairman of the Vagfa for Strategic and Social Research of the Marmara Group Dr. Akkan Suver, participating in the forum, told reporters on Tuesday.

The South Caucasus Forum, which is being held in Baku is quite an event, the echoes of which will be felt in other countries, the chairman of the Vagfa for Strategic and Social Research of the Marmara Group Dr. Akkan Suver, participating in the forum, told reporters on Tuesday.

Expressing his gratitude to Azerbaijan, Suver noted the importance of such a forum from the point of view of peace and prosperity in the region.

"I believe this forum will be of a guiding nature not only to Azerbaijan and the Caucasus, but also for the Balkans and Mid East," Suver said.

The forum was organized by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with Diaspora, the International Center of Nizami Ganjavi and the Club of Madrid.

The forum is attended by about 200 prominent political figures from more than 40 countries worldwide.

The forum discusses current regional issues as well as various aspects of intercultural and interreligious dialogue.
