The inauguration of Turkey's newly elected president Recep Tayyip Erdogan was held Aug. 28, TRT Haber TV channel reported.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by many heads of states and governments, as well as foreign ministers.
Azerbaijan was represented at the event by the Prime Minister Artur Rasizade.
Erdogan was sworn in at Turkey's Grand National Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was followed by the performance of Turkish national anthem and 101- gun salute.
Turkey held the presidential election on Aug. 10. Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who gained 51.8 percent of the vote, won the election.
