Azerbaijani defense minister checks combat readiness of frontline military units (PHOTO)

Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov started checking combat readiness of military units along the frontline Oct.27.
Testing is conducted in accordance with the request of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev, the press service of the defense ministery of Azerbaijan said.
The minister took an interest in fulfillment of combat assignments by the personnel, awareness of soldiers about their duties and the practical execution of the tasks while attending frontline units of the military.
During the examination of modern technology, which was recently delivered to artillery military unit, its combat capabilities were specified and instructions for its effective use were given.
Hasanov, who dined in canteens, asked about the moral, psychological and social conditions of servicemen.
The minister, who met with military personnel undergoing treatment at military medical institutions, instructed doctors to put maximum efforts for the speedy recovery of servicemen and their return to the military.
Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, who visited sites of repair and construction work and the soldiers' barracks, gave instructions to improve the social conditions of personnel and about preparation for winter.
