The issue of compensation payment to the families of those died in a fire in the Binagadi district of Baku, which occurred May 19, will be resolved in no time, Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Azerbaijan Salim Muslimov told reporters.
He said that places for the residents of the burned building have already been allocated.
The minister added that the mentioned people will be provided with food and clothing.
Muslimov said that the people will remain in the allocated settlements until permanent placement.
"President Ilham Aliyev gave instructions in connection with the urgent accommodation of the victims," Muslimov said.
Muslimov went on to add that the funerals of those died in the fire will be organized by the state.
A criminal case has been initiated in the Investigation Department on Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan upon the fire fact on the Articles 225.2 (violation of fire safety rules), 308.2 (abuse of power) and 314.2 (negligence) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
The fire that occurred in a multi-story building on the Azadlig Avenue in Baku left 15 people dead and 50 more injured, according to the latest data.
