Baku, Azerbaijan, Oct. 8

By Elchin Mehdiyev - Trend:

Azerbaijani MP Fazail Agamali says there is no difference between the persons who wage moral and political terror, and those who commit fatal terror acts against people.

Agamali's remarks came with regard to recent rejection to allow two employees of Amnesty International to enter Azerbaijan.

Speaking to Trend Oct. 8, he said the acts of both the people engaged in moral and political terrorism, and those killing people in terror attacks are in essence extremely dangerous for people, for society.

He further noted that the persons waging moral and political terror are more dangerous.

Agamali also said that apparently, Azerbaijan's law enforcement bodies had considerable information about those employees of the Amnesty International, so that they weren't allowed to enter the country.

It was planned in advance that these people will come to Azerbaijan and will be prevented from entering the country, statements on this will be made, the anti-national forces in Azerbaijan will support them and take steps in accordance with their plan, said the MP.

Today, the anti-Azerbaijani forces, which try to turn Azerbaijan into a military and political polygon and destroy the country in chaos, have become active and continue to put pressure on Azerbaijan, he added.

The decision of the Council of Europe to withdraw from the Joint Working Group on Human Rights Issues in Azerbaijan proves that the forces which control certain structures in Europe continue the campaign against Azerbaijan at an unprecedented level, said Aghamali.

Therefore, the ongoing processes in the region should be taken into account and Azerbaijan should show its strong position and carry out preventive measures, the MP concluded.
