BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 8. A total of 34 polling stations with all necessary conditions are operating in Azerbaijan's liberated territories in connection with the upcoming snap parliamentary election, the country's Audio Visual Council Chairman Ismat Sattarov said, Trend reports.

He made the remark at today's meeting on the possibilities of equal election campaigning and the basics of the activities of media entities in the upcoming snap parliamentary election in Baku.

“We set up polling stations in Khankendi. Again, we do not make any distinction for our citizens of Armenian origin living there; they can participate in the election. This will be the first parliamentary election in the liberated territories, which we can also call the victory election. Once again, we'll hold voting at polling stations throughout the sovereign territory of Azerbaijan," Sattarov added.

To note, on June 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree dissolving the sixth convocation of the Azerbaijani Parliament and scheduling a snap election for September 1.
