Preparation of the meeting’s agenda of the Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) was in the focus of the organization’s permanent representatives meeting in Tehran, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Iran, a permanent representative of the Azerbaijani Republic at the ECO, Abbasali Hassanov told Trend.
According to him, the meeting took place on 12 July in Tehran and the major issue was preparation to the CFM ECO meeting, scheduled for 20 August in Astana.
Hassanov reported, that the agenda of the upcoming meeting involves about 15 issues, concerning expansion of cooperation in the framework of the organization.
The Ambassador reported, that participation of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mammadyarov is expected in the upcoming meeting in Astana.
