“Depending on the final status, whether he is refugee or not, the relevant international documents, such as the Geneva Convention on Refugees, the European Convention on extradition of criminals, or the Minsk Convention will be put into operation,В" the diplomat noted. The chairman of the ADP arrived in Ukraine with a document, which did not indicate neither his citizenship, nor status. Therefore, Ukraine appealed to the United States for assertion and is currently waiting for reply.
Not indicating how much time was required for it, the diplomat said it depends on the American side.
