Roundtable on parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan held at MSU

A roundtable on parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan and prospect of development of Azerbaijan’s statehood was held at the Faculty of History of the Moscow State University (MSU). Attending the event were R.Rizayev, the Azerbaijani Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia, E.Guliyev, the adviser to the President of the Russian-Azerbaijan Congress, A.Dashdamirov, the full member of the Azerbaijan Academy of Science, Sh.Garayev, the first secretary of the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia, D.Akhundov, the adviser to the Azerbaijani embassy in Russia, Trend reports referring to Polit.ru.

The roundtable discussed impact of the last parliamentary election on prospect of development of Azerbaijan’s statehood and prospect of expansion of Azerbaijani-Russian relations post-election period.

The participants of the event concluded that the victory of pro-governmental forces in the parliamentary elections was natural. They voiced confidence that the Azerbaijani-Russian relations would develop hence both in political and economic sphere.
