Around 100-150 Kazakh citizens to vote in presidential elections in Baku

Approximately 100-150 citizens of Kazakhstan will vote for the presidential elections to be held in that country on 4 December 2005, Dastan Suleymonov, the Consul of Kazakhstan in Azerbaijan told

According to Suleymonov, they are employees of the embassy and their family members, employees of different companies and firms active in Azerbaijan, as well as citizens of this country due to visit Baku temporarily. The list of electors to vote in Azerbaijan on the polling day is under determination. The CEC of Kazakhstan organized only one polling station in Azerbaijan. The results of the poll will be sent to Astana the same day.

So far, the Central Elections Commission (CEC) of Kazakhstan has registered 5 candidates, including the current President, Nursultan Nazarbayev.
