The authorities of Azerbaijan are satisfied by the preliminary assessment of the OSCE/ODIHR observation mission on the elections to the Milli Mejlis, the head of the socio-political department of the Azerbaijan’s president executive office Ali Hasanov said in a statement on 25 November during his talk with journalists, Trend reports.

In his view, the OSCE final statement will also not differ essentially from the publicized report. В"The OSCE general characteristics of the 6 November elections show that the elections on the whole passed normally and were not in line with the international standards only in some polling stations”, Hasanov said, noting, in 87% of the polling stations the voting was in conformity with the relevant standards.

В"Preliminary assessment of the international observers suits fully the country’s authorities and we think, at the result of measures taken by the President Ilham Aliyev to remove the facts of Election Code violations, the OSCE summary report will include more positive moments”, Hasanov said.
