A ceremony of granting MPs with their certificates was held in a Tuesday parliamentary sitting of the Milli Majlis [parliament]. Addressing to the ceremony Mazahir Panahov, the chairman of the Central Elections Commission (CEC) noted the democracy and transparency of the 6 November parliamentary elections in 2005.
After MPs received their certificates. Panahov first presented a certificate to the chairman of the parliament, Oktay Asadov, then the first vice speaker, Ziyafat Asgarov, deputies speakers Bahar Muradova and Valeh Alasgarov. The chairman of the CEC also presented the certificates to other MPs.
