Parliament discusses 2 bills in its morning sitting

Milli Majlis [parliament] discussed two bills in its morning sitting Friday, Trend reports.

In his remarks on changes and supplements to the constitutional law on Ombudsman of Azerbaijan MP Fazil Gazanfaroglu voiced his disagreement with the activities of the Ombudsman.

In their turn MPs from the ruing New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), Ali Ahmadov and Siyavush Novruzov, appreciated the activities of Ombudsman, the services of the Ombudsmans Institute in the recognition of Azerbaijan at the international institutes. They proposed to establish the regional centers of the Institute in Shaki, Ganja, Guba and Jalilabad.

Ziyafat Asgarov, the deputy speaker, also head of the permanent parliamentary commission on security and defense, spoke about conscription and military mobilization. MPs Gudrat Hasanguliyev and Igbal Agazade underlined the necessity for injecting some changes in the document. Both bills were adopted after the discussions.
