The minimal salary in Azerbaijan will increase up to 50 AZN soon, Trend reports citing Ilham Aliyev, the Azerbaijani President, as stating at the Heydar Aliyev park in Gakh on Wednesday.
According to Aliyev, salary will rise in 2006 as previous years. Now it is equal to 35 AZN, then it will reach 40 AZN and 50 AZN.
The President stressed it was his first trip to Gakh within the regional tour. According to Aliyev, the goal of the visit is to get familiar with execution of decisions made in Baku. The head of the country regards the regional development as dynamic, but additional decisions will be made on the Gakh region.
Within the visit to Gakh the President visited Ilisu spa and the village, where ethnic ingiloys live.
