During the three-day visit to Baku the Turkish Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu will discuss issues concerning terror, human trafficking and smuggling, Trend reports
Aksu told the Turkish television channel TRT in Baku that the visit was paid as part of an Azerbaijan-Turkey interstate agreement on security.
The Turkish-Azerbaijani cooperation in the sphere of security will continue developing, the minister underlined.
He also noted that during the talks in Baku it is planned to hold an exchange of opinions on some regional issues.
The visit program includes a tribute at the Cemetery of Martyrs and Cemetery of Honors, a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart, Ramil Usubov, visits to units of Azerbaijani interior troops on 19 April.
The Turkish Interior Ministers visit to Azerbaijan will complete on 21 April.
