On August 15, the United Nations high commissioner on refugees Antonio Guterres will arrive in Azerbaijan with an official visit, Trend reports quoting Baku Office of UNO High Commissariat on Refugees.
Besides, it was stated the high commissioner has been invited by the Azerbaijani government. Within the visit, Guterres will hold several meetings with senor officials of Azerbaijan, which will focus on various issues. The high commissioner is planning to visit the places densely populated by the internally displaced persons.
On August 17, it is planned to hold the press-conference of high commissioner, together with the chairman of the State Commission on Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov.
