Introducing frozen conflicts to the agenda of the UN General Assembly is of a great importance, Elmar Mammadyarov, Azerbaijan`s Foreign Minister told journalists today, Trend reports.
He pointed out that the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict is considered as a frozen lingering conflict. It is expected to be discussed during the sitting of the UN General Assembly to be held on 4 December. We shall have a decision of the General Assembly by September 2007. said the Foreign Minister.
Mr. Mammadyarov also pointed out that this issue will be discussed with Georgian Foreign Minister Gela Bejuashvili, who has arrived in Azerbaijan today.
