The plan of bilateral co-operation for 2007, between the military departments of Ukraine and Azerbaijan was signed on November 23 in Brest. The document was signed by the Defense Ministers of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev and Ukraine Anatoly Gritsenko in Brest before the beginning of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member-countries, Trend reports quoting UNIAN. The documents envisage conducting 6 joint events, including official visit of Ukrainian Defense Minister to Baku and visit of the Chief of the Headquarter of Azerbaijani Internal Troops to Kiev. In addition, it is intended to continue the works on creating the International Center to train aviation personnel and specialists to apply aviation to fight with terrorism. Moreover, the Plan implies participating in the planned conferences on preparing international peace loving forces and exchanging experience with regard to the military education.
