Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend , corr E.Huseynov / Homigon Nazarov, Head of State Protocol Department of Tajikistan's Foreign Ministry, exclusively informed Trend that the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev is planning an official visit to Tajikistan.
The Azerbaijani delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister, Khalaf Khalafov, is currently on a visit to Dushanbe to make arrangements for the forthcoming visit. On 9 March the Azerbaijani delegation met with the First Deputy Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Saymumin Yatimov to discuss the issues concerning the Azerbaijani President's visit.
The meeting was held to co-ordinate the documents to be signed during the visit and both parties agreed to organize any necessary consultations by 12 March so as to finalize the draft documents and the details of the visit, Nazarov added.
