Azerbaijan, Baku / corr. Trend I.Alizade / The Chairman of Milli Majlis [Azerbaijani Parliament], Ogtay Asadov, received the Ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan, Zurab Gumberidze.
Asadov wished the Ambassador, who has completed his diplomatic mission, every success in his activities. He highly assessed Gumberidze's services in developing relations between the two countries. Asadov said that the political, economical and humanitarian co-operation between the two countries will also develop at the level of the parliaments.
In return, Gumberidze said that he would never forget his time in Azerbaijan and would continue his relations with Azerbaijan. Both parties exchanged their views.
Gumberidze will be returning to Georgia in the near future and a new Ambassador has already been appointed to replace him.
